Basic Info
Name:Luke fon Fabre
Bio

Personality

Luke had always lived the good life so when it comes to the real world he can get a bit over whelmed but his natural sense of curiosity makes him more willing to explore rather than be afraid of the world. Curiosity can at times be his fault and often leads him head first into trouble. The destruction of Akzeriuth just one major example of how his nosy nature can lead him to learning his lessons the hard way. It was after this particular mistake that Luke realized it was time for him to change.

Now he appreciates and listens to the advice of those around him rather than brushing them off. He takes other's feelings into consideration often and though he can still be a little tactless he tries hard to make good impressions and actually to think before opening his mouth. Unlike his earlier self when he messes up he is always willing to apologize for it and do his best to make up for his failures. A huge part of this is due to the destruction of Akzeriuth. He has never gotten over that mistake and probably never will but its this guilt that drives him to work hard and make up for his many mistakes. Though he will never believe he's done enough it doesn't make him any less determined.

Though he's worked hard to separate himself from the spoiled brat he once was, the old Luke can still slip out when he gets angry. He'll often tell people to shut up when they're making fun of him or just plain irking him. He can also get so frustrated with something that he tears up and even yells at it. A good example of his bratty attitude would be in his treatment of Mieu, the poor Cheagel assigned to follow him around. He'll often take his frustration out on this animal by yelling at it. Thankfully his treatment of Mieu has also improved with his new changes. But the main source of his frustration is in his struggle with his existence as a replica. Being born to replace someone else has left him wondering where his true place in the world lies and though he loves his family he doesn't believe his place will ever be with them.

He can also get pretty down on himself but it never last long. He's aware there are far more important things to worry about that his faults and fumbles and like many children he can get frustrated when he falls but like an adult he makes himself get back up and try again. The boy is stubborn and he'll either get the job done or die trying. Despite his young age and sheltered upbringing Luke can endure a great deal. Though he can take on too much at times and volunteer too quickly for things he has no clue about he still manages to come out of it in piece. Some can say it's just dumb luck but Luke likes to believe there is a method to the madness.

He's just as determined in his treatment of other people as he is in everything else. Despite Van's betrayal he still refers to the man as his master and holds hope all the way to the end that Van can be changed. Another example of his endurance for abuse is all that belittling he takes from his original, Asch. Luke constantly compares himself to the boy and tries to do better he also struggles to prove that they are in fact two different people. Asch will forever frustrate Luke to no end but he still strives to make a better relationships with the other. He cares for him much like a little brother would for their cranky big brother even though he'll never admit to it. Through the coarse of the game he's often worrying over him and wondering what he's up to, he also starts to rely a bit on Asch's help towards the end of the game.

He worries a lot over what his loved ones think of him and hopes that after all this time he's at least proved to them that he's changed and that he can be counted on. Prove that he's no longer the bratty, fumbling and naive teenager he used to be and that he knows how much he appreciates all of them. ... Even Mieu.

Strengths

Since he was old enough to grasp a sword Luke has been trained in fighting. The talent is a passion of his and he spent all his time practicing and improving it when he wasn't being forced to learn other things. He is also skilled when it comes to the use of fonons, being a replica of Asch makes him a Scion of Lorelei as well allowing him to use the seventh fonon though he can only perform one small healing spell in battle (Guardian field) he can also create a hyper resonance on his own.

Beside his skill with a sword and fighting Luke is very resilient. Even in the worst of times he manages to pull himself back on his feet. Though it can be a shaky stance with a bit of self doubt he isn't one to just lay back and give up. He's always been a fighter and even if he's easily frustrated it doesn't dampen his spirit.

Another strength is his will to live. True regrets his birth but this does not make him want to give up on life. He enjoys living and doesn't plan on dying if he doesn't have to. Though he hates having to take other human lives to survive its this will to keep going that pulls him through this journey. This doesn't mean he isn't willing to die for the grater good of course. Which brings me to his final strength, his acceptance of his weaknesses.

Though it may seem like his weakness conflict with his strengths or even out weigh them, it's his acceptance and understanding of these soft spots that make him strong enough to take what's thrown at him. Though it may be easy to take advantage of him, that only applies to people he trust and earning this one's trust is no easy task. The betrayal from Van has made him a bit more weary of who falls in his good graces and since then he's been a much better judge of character. He's made many mistakes but he's learned from everyone of them in order to make himself a better person.

Weaknesses

Luke is much like an insecure child and there for very weak mentally. A big weakness of his is his guilt over ...well everything from his birth to the promise he broke by dying. Being a replica had ruined the life of his original which he often self-loathes over, the destruction of Akzeriuth is another would on his heart that could be exploited if you're looking to make him cry. His regret over this has often plagued his dreams and made him cry out in the night. There a good chunk of other things he despises himself for but is does his best to over come them. It'll be a long journey though.

After being tricked into destroying the city of Akzeriuth by his master Van one of his biggest weaknesses has become self doubt. He is often second guessing his every move and tends to get down on himself a lot when things go wrong. Another is Naivety, living a very sheltered life in a mansion, with servants and the best pampering a royal can have Luke grew up in sheer ignorant bliss of the world around him. Though his journey has finally opened his eyes the real world and its ways can still be pretty tricky for him. He's easily fooled by most anybody especially people with a charismatic influence. Being placed in an entirely new world on his own is likely to leave him even more vulnerable to a friendly face.

Which brings us to his fear of abandonment. He's well aware of how awful he was to people at the start of his journey and it was because of this his team abandoned him. Though this did give him a wake up call it also gave him a deep fear of abandonment. At times it makes him just a little to eager to please cares for or take the blame when things go wrong.

A few less serious weaknesses include anything domestic. A life of personal servants and money has left Luke domestically challenged. Though a step above his cousin Princess Natalia his cooking is still bland and lacking. Sewing is out of the question as well as cleaning. Try and teach him some of these things and you're bound to have a very frustrating few hours. His final weakness is his slight dependence on other people. Like any child he's never been completely on his own and though he's willing to try taking the world on by himself he's still reluctant to do it without some kind of guidance.

Lastly is his short temper. It often gets him into trouble as he's easily frustrated and can start blurting out or doing things he doesn't mean when he does lose his temper.
